Arlene Kelley began drawing and painting as a small child. She studied both fine and commercial art, studying painting at the Portland School of Art (Maine College of Art), and getting her BFA degree at the Art Institute of Southern California (Laguna Beach School of Art & Design). She has worked in the printing, newspaper advertising, and public relations fields, all the while continuing to also work as a traditional artist in drawing and painting. She now is self-employed as an artist and designer, creating her original artwork as well as graphic design.
When she is not working, Arlene spends her time with her family; her husband Daniel Baird, 5 year old Henry and 6 year old Ariana, and their cat, Tiny.
